Katawa Shoujo Thread

Post by Hanako Ikezawa on Thu Jan 31, 2013 11:45 pm

This place is to be used for anything and everything involving the Katawa Shoujo game. To help, here are the exact colors used by the characters in the game, so if you want you can use it for your posts. Just quote this thread and they should show up when the OP is editable. (Special thanks to Byne for finding them). Also, each wil have a custom emoticon head of the person next to them (Special thanks to Norlond for making them).

Emi Ibarazaki

Hanako Ikezawa

Shizune Hakamichi

Shiina “Misha” Mikado

Lilly Satou

Rin Tezuka

Shizune is the best!

And KS has one of the best soundtracks ever. Of all time.

If the six girls were on a dialogue wheel, would you guys say this is accurate?

Paragon: Lilly
Neutral: Rin
Renegade: Misha
Charm: Hanako
Investigate: Emi
Intimidate: Shizune

Should Lilly and Hanako be the other way around?

Why would Misha be renegade? Also, Emi is best girl.

Hanako is the best, but I'm biased due to being nearly identical. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MmgV6vN0Evs

I do agree with the soundtrack part. I have it on my MP3 whenever I need a song for super emotional needs.

Maybe they should. Lilly manners seem charming, so would probably fit charm better.

So, Blur, have you done any more routes yet?

Makes sense (Lilly = charm). Sorry, I accidentally edited your post instead of quoting it.

I put Misha as the standard Renegade option because that's usually the worst thing you can pick, especially when there's an Intimidate option available. It's because choosing Misha is a bad thing, not because she's renegade.

Only Emi and Shizune so far.

Makes sense, since those two were always together anyway and were the most renegade of all the characters. Which one are you doing next?

Lilly, Rin, Hanako, probably in that order.

Here are some IT themed KS quotes!

Your going progressively going towards the sadder stories. Bring tissues, you'll need them. I know I did, for more reasons than one.

Only one of them worked.

I never much cared for Hanako's route. I think it ends far too early.

That's basically my only complaint with Shizune's route.

It's definately one of the shorter stories, but like I said I relate to it for very special and personal reasons, so it's my favorite.

Man, if you thought Shizune's route was too short, you'll probably think Hanako's route is extremely short.

Also, random bit of trivia: does this look familiar?

Oh, no I meant it ended before it should have. The end wasn't and ending (why does that seem familiar?).

So that's what it is.

That's the best reason to like it! Probably why I like Shizune so much.

I relate most to Hanako and Rin. I'm extremely and I never really know how to act around others or what to say. However, Emi is my favorite, because she makes me want to improve myself.

(also, I accidentally edited your post at first instead of replying Pinched )

Thanks. Truth be told, I'm conflicted about whether I should just tell the story now or not. On the one hand, this game shows it's good to let that stuff out, but on the other it's still really hard to talk about.

*hugs back*

Also, I wouldn't simple because them getting tired of KS stuff was one reason I made this thread in the first place.

Did you guys know that part of the track "Nocturne" has "Oh, Canada", Canada's national anthem in it? It's because KS's main composer, NicolArmarfi, is Canadian.
