What should I do with my life now?

Get another Origin account with another Mass Effect 3 and start again?

Wow, maxed all the ultra rares? I'm still working on it.

(And getting all the challenges)

Nah, I destroyed the multiplayer, I am now finally able to make my own choices, you evil kid. Predator

Just so you all know, maxing all the ultra rares requires you to sacrifice a goat to the RNG god, laugh at a legless man, and finally pray to the flying spaghetti monster.

Making sacrifices is what this war is about.

I just attempted my first ever gold solo, and succeeded on my first try! w00t

I played the Krogan Battlemaster, on Tuchanka, vs. Geth. Used the Reegar Carbine with Warp Ammo IV, Shotgun Rail Amp III, Cyclonic modulator IV, and Shield Booster V.

Took me frakking long though. I was doing really well up to wave 7. By the end of wave 6 I had only used one medigel, one ops pack and one cobra. By the end of wave 8, I had no more medigel and only 3 ops packs left. (Died a few times in a row due to staggerlocking bombers and Pyros/Primes).

So I had no more medigel with waves 9, 10 and 11 to go. Miraculously, I managed to do it and still had 2 ops packs and 4 cobras left by the time I extracted.

Game lasted a whopping 102 minutes though. =\

I'm thinking about doing Cerberus/Glacier for my next attempt. Maybe playing the Warlord this time. (I refuse to solo as a Juggernaut)

After I got the solos done, it's "just" seven times promoting all six classes for N7 mastery and Best of the Best banner! (lol)

Holy shit. You really took your time...

In a game that long, you will die of boredom/frustration more likely than from anything else. Gratz on the success though, soloing is so boring that once you are done with them, you'll never want to do them again.

DoomsdayDevice wrote:

I would not recommend Glacier for soloing because the map is too small, the enemies will surround you whenever you get the 4-devices objective. And Warlord gets sync-killed by Phantoms and other sync-kills very easily, so I'd recommend playing against Geth again if you want some Hammer time.

I did my two gold solos in White, with my melee-specced AIU (EDIbot). It's a lot of fun to slice Phantoms to the sky. Smile

Good luck with that, I haven't promoted any of my classes after last June. Don't see the point in it myself (unless you really want that banner...).

Yeah, if I'm using the Warlord, I'll probably do Geth again.

I can't really decide.

Geth Trooper?

AIU? I'm pretty good with the AIU. I use a no fitness Claymore build myself... did a lot of platinum with her.

I really don't want my game to last that long again.

Well, the more damage you do, the faster you get through the waves.

So all infiltrators are good choices, with the geth being a personal favorite.

The N7 slayer (Mr. Kai Leng wannabe) is really good against cerberus with his phase disruptor (biotic slash is ineffective).

Asari Vanguard has awesome lift grenades, so that's a good option as well.

The geth trooper can kill things with fire better than anyone else, so not a bad pick.

In general though: If you have a class which you've been using a lot and feel comfortable with, it's usually the best option.

If you're going against cerberus, remember to always pick a weapon to deal with phantoms (usually either scorpion or acolyte), they have near-invulnerability at times when hosting, so you need to cheese them as much as possible.

Yeah, I always use the Scorpion against Phantoms. =)

So, I decided to go with the Warlord against Geth on Firebase White.

Did it in 74 minutes this time, so I'm improving lol.

This time I ran out of medi-gel on wave 5... I died once on wave 1 (don't ask lol), then 5 times in a row on wave 5, because I got too aggressive, and when I got up my screen was dark and I couldn't see where I was going, then got stuck in a corner, etcetera.

I breezed through the first 4 waves though, because I was being so aggressive. But because I ran out of medi-gel I had to go back to being really careful, and that's why it still lasted 74 minutes.

I also forgot to swap my Adas for my Harrier, so that's another reason why it took longer.

Oh well, at least I got both my gold solos done on my first try! Grin

I was watching a gold solo video with an Asari Vanguard earlier, pretty amazing. Acolyte with Incendiary ammo, then charge... lots of fire 'splosions! Spam some lift grenades... really fast paced killing. I'm going to give that a try some time. pirat

Finished my solo golds the last couple of days to complete the last two challenges (Solo and Mass Effect)...I used the Geth Juggernaut specced for durability and melee and went against the Geth...not sure if I would have been able to get it done without using the Juggernaut...and if it hadn't been for the objective waves I would say that it was too easy (probably wouldn't have had to use any equipment) (which on a side note - I had to do the 4 devices objective for all 3 objective waves for both games - that sucked ass)...still need to fill out the rare/ultra rare wepon mods and ultra rare weapons - but otherwise can purely do MP for the enjoyment of it.

After all of this time I FINALLY gave Multiplayer a shot and I really wish I did so a long time ago. It really is alot of fun. Right now I'm working on upgrading my mods, weapons, saving my money and just practicing all of the weapons. I screw around on bronze a lot though and recently met some cool guys while playing.

PSN ID: BlackoutBasement

Really would love to play with some of you guys. I've met some good people here. Very Happy(and I've got a mic of course^)

I started playing again.  Directly DD's fault for getting me nostalgic.  If anyone still plays (on PC), would love to get away from PUG hell.  Origin id is Veladus.

I'd so hit you up if only I played on PC.

My friend is really into the MP right now. She's only started last week, but she's learning fast. Doing silvers mostly, until she's got enough experience and more of the good stuff! Her Origin nick is AintSweetNoMore, if you're interested.

Also, new character builder:
