Who is that in the picture of the upcoming 'Citadel'(?) DLC?

Personal opinion: Wrex is there because this is Post-Ending DLC. Putting him in the game otherwise is just too complicated, imo.
-is he alive or dead? Default ME3 has him DEAD
-did you betray him or not?
-you can't really bring him during the Tuchanka arc!

Which makes no sense.

Oh its a placeholder model that looks like Wrex.

Which would be crazy in a teaser picture.

Also, I think the person next to him is BroShep. Some disagree and say its Kaiden, but... That's even more niche then Wrex being there!

It could still be pre-Cronos if:
-Wrex being there is just a tag that can go on or off based on his status with you (dead, hating you, etc)
-Wrex is replaced with another character if he's not available, like with stuff that happens in the main game

But if Wrex is to be any of a focus.... I don't see either of those things happening.

I first thought that the other one wasn't Shepard but looking more closely, it looks like it.

Well it could be a Wrex/Wreav sort of thing, with a lock-out just before the betrayal scene if you backstab Wrex.

But that would seem to be rather restrictive and would mean people would need to start a new game to play it if they've played up to Cronos...

Many people wanted to know if Wrex and Aria know each other. I can not think of anything else related to Wrex on the Citadel before the ending.

If you betray Wrex, that is the only time you can see him on the Citadel... But is he there only to kill you or what? I dont think that he will leave his people to hang out with some friends... Rolling Eyes

I think it is possible that scene happens after the ending but it is actually hallucination.

The same thought had occurred to me too. If that is Wrex and Kaidan, then that could be quite telling, as they might both be dead. If so they might represent Shepard hallucinating that they are still alive in some wish-fulfilment fantasy.

It is Shepard's own "Purgatory"! Shepard has to go through hell and fucked up illusions before breaking free.

Yeah, Wrex pre-ending seems... weird. Although theoretically it's possible, I guess.

But zooming in on that picture, that's not Shepard. Way too much hair. It's either Kaidan or just some random Alliance soldier.
