It only works with exactly Shepard's body mass, no more no less. That's why only Shep can make it happen.

It shouldn't destroy *all* synthetics or require the user to die to control the Reapers, either.

What a pity we didn't have trolololo choice along with paragon and renegade.

Something Bioware needs to consider, they don't have a trolololo mode, just two moral compass options. We really need the Trolololo moral option.

Synthesis seems very reminiscent of Legion giving his life to disseminate the reverse engineered reaper code to all geth in order to give them true sentience.

It lends credence to the idea that the endings are drawn entirely from Shepards memories.

So at this point, they want him alive and willing and without anyone in their way for them to obtain him.
