Multiplayer Strategy and Build section!
This forum needs a place to discuss multiplayer. So its getting one!
Talk about character builds, favourite classes, different strategies, teaming up with other ITers and even discuss multiplayer related theories if you want.
My Xbox Live Gamertag is AxStapleton
Edit: Seeing the presence of another gamertag exchange thread (:/facepalm), this would probably better serve as a place just to discuss particular builds and strategies. (Credit to Blue Logic for the suggestion )

Perhaps this could serve as more of a strategy and build discussion hub, while the thread you mentioned could remain a directory of member systems and tags. Then again, I'm not a mod either lol

I've edited the title and description to better reflect that. Thanks.

I like Sentinel and Adept best.
Either Ex-Cerberus Adept with Harrier, no points in singularity, max out everything else, or for Sentinel, Krogan speced for survivability armed with a claymore. Vorch speced for melee and flamed, or Turian speced for crowd control

N7 Destroyer. Typhoon. Devastator mode.
There is only "open fire" and "reloading."

Destroyer is in my rotation for exactly this reason. I've only got a decent Revenant though. A Typhoon...that's a whole other world of pain for the enemy.
My main is Geth infiltrator though. I'm just better at taking cover and sniping for high damage than other methods of combat. I'll take my Quarian female sometimes instead. Sabotaging turrets never gets old.

Re: Multiplayer Strategy and Build section!
For me, my favourite classes tend to depend on the enemy (if I can pick)
For Reapers: Generally a durable tank so probably Krogan Soldier or Sentinel with both their grenade powers maxed out and respective defensive powers speced for resistance. Both with Harrier and Claymore for high damage.
For Cerberus: I tend to play a support role in high difficulty Cerberus games so I often play as a "Healer" Geth Engineer armed with Valiant and Geth SMG. After that I play as my Female Quarian Infiltrator to have some fun with the Turrets and Atlases. I sometimes play as a Volus Adept for the lulz.
For Geth: I tend to play as Quarians. Either Female Infiltrator with Sabotage maxed out armed with Black Widow and Hurricane, or Male Infiltator with Arc Grenade maxed out armed with Saber and Hurricane. Sometimes play as a Shadow with Cloak and Electric Slash maxed.
For Collectors: This is where I use either the Krogard, Ex-Cerbguard or Destroyer. Krogard has Biotic Charge, Barrier and Melee maxed out. Cerbguard has some points in Charge with Maxed out Lash and Smash. Destroyer hardly needs explaining.
I tend to play Destroyer if its unknown and Gold.

Re: Multiplayer Strategy and Build section!
Go to classes for me include Vorcha and Geth Soldiers specced for flamer damage, Bararian Vanguard specced for melee, Destroyer as above with Particle Rifle or Typhoon.
I do love playing in a biotic lobby, though. Four adepts can rip everything to shreds.

I do use different classes to freshen things up a bit though. I sometimes use just melee on the Slayer in Bronze solo for the sake of feeling like a space ninja.

Lift Grenades.
Any time. Any where. Any one.

Re: Multiplayer Strategy and Build section!
Nice thread! MP addiction is hurting my life.
All my favourite builds are based on ME1 squad:
Shep (Female Infiltrator, these days I'm skipping Stickies though I like them)
Liara (Asari Adept for Biotic explosion madness, though she's more like an Ardat-Yakshi than Liara in my mind)
Tali (Engineer with no health and monumental damage, tho I traded the Turret for health recently - it's less useful on higher difficulties)
Wrex (Kroguard but with -200% recharge time for a proper tank with huge heavy weapons, no Biotic Charge spam as all recharge times are like 60s)
Ash (Base soldier class, built for AR + Adrenaline Rush spam)
None really fit Garrus but I'm liking the Turian sentinel w/ Scorpion tactics atm
I'm made some biotic humans but don't use them much
Recently made some Drell including a Thane-styled Infiltrator
Also have a Batarian called Harbinger who's pretty fun (Sentinel w/ Black/Gold theme)
Shepard is my main though, all solo runs are done with her

I'd say that the main I use generally is my Fem Quarian Infiltator, Lera'Elha.

I'm finding that a sniping adept w/stasis works really well against Cerberus.

Gave the KS a shot. Wow, that's one tough S.O.B.
I prefer the Wraith since it has two shots and a quick reload. I stuck an omni-blade and high velocity barrel on it, and it's been great for the short range work. For long range I'm bringing a black widow with high velocity barrel and piercing mod. Was able to solo bronze at level 13 with little problem (which is saying something for me). Anyway, thanks for the recommendation!

Re: Multiplayer Strategy and Build section!
I really don't understand why people play sniping adepts.
If I'm playing an adept, I go for maximum combo effect, so I always use stuff that gives me 200% cooldown.
I've got a lot of great builds, if anyone is looking for a good build for a particular kit, just ask.
There's a number of kits I almost never play, for which I am still figuring out a good build.
Will ask for some builds later, have to go now.

You mean stasis-snipe?
Might as well go for stasis-combo. Explosions take out more enemies and generally do more damage than sniper shots. Not to mention that if you don't do enough damage to kill them, the stasis will break and they will slump to the ground.

I agree in general, though the statis-snipe is particularly useful against those darned phantoms. I prefer to keep my builds more "true to the class" personally. Combos for Adepts and sniping for Infiltrators. Just throwing out an answer for your question/statement. :stick:

Mind you, quite often I go Shotty Infiltrator with the bonus cloak damage. Cloak, get in close, unload as much as you can, cloak, retreat, repeat.

Re: Multiplayer Strategy and Build section!
Was beasting it around with the ex-Cerberus Vanguard earlier. Charge, Smash, Wraith. Lots of dead things.
Not an optimal class, but fun and I'm trying to cane my way through the Outsider challenges.

Yeah...I don't love the adept sniping for everything...but w/Cerberus it really works well - and its not just the Phantoms, but the Guardians as well...and for my slow hand eye coordination it is really easy way for me to get head shots...otherwise I just luck into them. But I agree as well - when playing a "power" class usually go for fast recharge and combos.
