I'll be honest, graphics are completely and utterly secondary to what makes a good game in my eyes. So all this talk of new engines and new consoles really doesn't get me all that moved.

It's not just the graphics, new consoles with new hardware like more RAM also means better AI e.g.

Actually, a new engine is practically about graphics at this point. Apparently the Fox engine has improved animations somehow, but other than that everything can be done in video games as it is. Why do you think the video presentations for the engines, are literally about showing you how everything LOOKS?

New consoles, could already have updated hardware without these new engines too.
