Your thoughts on IT in regards to the expanded universe of Mass Effect
How much should we take from the novels, comic books and IOS games when it comes to clues about IT? I ask because information in them are retconned constantly (the way batarians look, The Illusive watches the First Contact War from his home in Ascension yet fights on the ground on Shanxi in Evolution).
The way I look at it, novels written by Drew K, good. The comics, here and there, I think only the events directly mentioned in game should count, same goes for the IOS games. What do you think?
P.S.
I love this emoticon with all my heart

I think it's still a useful tool to figure out the authors intent for the overall narrative

Game canon supercedes anything in the expanded universe, but otherwise we can take everything bioware was heavily involved in.

Those comics though, man, I like them just fine, but they are soooo over the top, I mean, they are not long enough to be a deep and connected Sandman-like graphic novel so I understand why, but its hard for me to take ANY of it seriously.

On the topic of side things, has anyone seen Paragon Lost and is it as awful as the trailer implies?

I tried to watch it but shut it off, but to be fair, I really dislike anime in general so I probably was never going to be able to give it a fair shake.
