Literalists
Can literalists spew literalist crap here? I mean, we all know literalist crap is wrong anyways... but you know, they've got a whole forum for that back at the BSN >.>
I know they are allowed to be here, but as far as I knew everyone was fine with it because they were lurking.

Re: Literalists
So you should shun those who are different, is that it? I'm not even a literalist, and that seems wrong. Probably because every dark moment in human history had a similar thought at one point in time.
As long as they don't troll the threads, then there's no problem imo that they can post. Talking to literalists is what got some of the best arguments from. If it stays as just ITers, to quote Mordin, "culture stagnates".

No not shunning, nice twisting things there.Selim Bradley wrote:So you should shun those who are different, is that it? I'm not even a literalist, and that seems wrong. Probably because every dark moment in human history had a similar thought at one point in time.

They usually spew the same stuff over and over. Like Gummy's viewpoint on the Crucible. We've already refuted that and beat it into the ground, so there is nothing left to gain from it. Actually, considering IT is proven there is no way for literalists to contribute any more. We already have fellow ITers debating each other and calling into question each other's claims, the only literalist arguments that can be made have already been made.
Re: Literalists
"Can literalists spew literalist crap here?" Sound familar? It should, you said it. There's nothing for me to twist from that, it's already negative enough. IT is not proven, or else people here wouldn't still be asking for a reveal DLC. So since it's still just a theory, why shun a different viewpoint? Even if it disagrees and disproves some evidence we have, it still helps overall. That's the scientific mthod. You don't do an experiment, yet only record the data you like.IronicParticle wrote:No not shunning, nice twisting things there.Selim Bradley wrote:So you should shun those who are different, is that it? As long as they can have good discussions, they should be able to stay.

Re: Literalists
Selim was suggesting, that I was suggesting, that we should shun them. I'm personally being blunt, but I'm not really suggesting others be blunt. Just simply whether or not they should post their literalist ideas. I mean once again, they've got an entire forum for that.RavenEyry wrote:Earlier...IronicParticle wrote:No not shunning, nice twisting things there.IronicParticle wrote:Can literalists spew literalist crap here?
