I Have a Crazy Proposition...

Hello everyone, I'm not a regular poster here but my name is ViolentSound.

For the past six months I've been running a blog over at blogger. The blog is focused on Video Game news and other gaming related content. As well as movie news and movie related content. I've managed to run the blog like a well oiled machine. However, I've recently started a YouTube channel for gaming videos. This as you may imagine has taken up a lot of time as well. Between that and my online schooling it's hard for me to keep a good amount of quality on my blog.

This is where the proposition comes in...


I'd like to open up my blog to allow for more writers to write for it. Now before you go "You're crazy" or "Why would we work with you? " just hear me out

I don't expect anyone to dedicate their lives to the blog. I understand that there are more important things in life. I take my blog seriously, I would like for others to as well, But I'm not expecting it to be treated as such. To me it's more then just a hobby it's like a job, but I don't get paid for doing it lol.

The reason why I've decided to post this on this forum and it's the only forum I've done so. Is because everyone here are great critical thinkers and great at analyzing data and hidden themes. I'd love to have writers like that writing for the Blog.

You wouldn't be working for me, I wouldn't a boss. I would still fact check, and you can fact check me too, edit spell check etc. Anything to make the quality of the blog better. You would also get the credit for any article you write.

If you're still reading this and is interested then I'll post some quick things I'm looking for..

1.Only articles about the Video Game and Movie industry please.: News, Reviews, Opinion Pieces, Top Ten Lists, anything as long as it's on topic.

2.I will fact check articles, But I'll so offer up my posts for fact checking as well. Opinions or reviews I won't mess with anything. I'll just read over it to ensure there isn't anything hurtful/hateful or inflammatory. But other then that I won't try to change your opinion to enforce my own. That's not how it should be done.

3.Have fun with it! Don't stress out over it. If you can't post that day or that week please contact me, the blog will still be there when you get back. If you aren't feeling inspired that it's okay i totally get that. There doesn't need to be any stress or drama.

This sounds like fun. Too bad I don't nearly play enough games to contribute anything useful. I play very few games, as my time is limited. But what I do play, I tend to play over and over.

Also, I'm always behind... I never play the latest games as soon as they come out. I typically play them like a year later when they're on discount. In some cases, I never get around to it. There's several older titles that I still plan on playing.

Well you could always write news articles x3. That's what the blog is mostly. I write posts about the current happening in both industries and then put my own personality in. I will say that I understand being behind. I have a couple games back logged. I just recently got around to Age Of Wonders 3, like literally last night and it's amazing lol.

I only really play console games but tend to play quite a lot. I'm not an amazing writer at all but I could try and do something
