The Thread of Obscure Skyrim Tales and Lore (a.k.a. random weird shit that happens while we play)

So, in honor of officially passing 200 active mod plugins in Skyrim (202 to be precise) I'm starting an official Skyrim (and other TES games if anyone has stories from those to share) thread for sharing anything that happens during our various playthroughs.  Have at it mi amigos, I can't wait to see the stuff you all have experienced. ^^

(Don't worry, I'll definitely have some stuff to share as well, I just need a bit of time to find it and take pictures of it.)

Just anything, really, though I'd say the crazy stuff is what I really want to hear. ^^  You know, like that time a dead dragon just appeared behind me partially lodged in the ground when I loaded a save. XD  Skyrim physics.

I was once heading to Markarth, dropped by Rorikstead on the way there. Used the inn to warm up and sleep (Forstfall etc).
Came out in the morning to the dragon attack music starting and everyone running for their lives. The music came to a stop not long after starting and i was a little confused as i never found the dragon.

At that moment heard the sound of burning and the soul coming from behind me, turned around to see the dragon lodged head first in the Inn building....no effort needed!

If anything this is why i love Bethesda games. The game breaking glitches can be a pain in the arse, but the funny glitches like that always get me!

Weird shit happens all the time in Skyrim, pal...

There was this quest I did for Thieves Guild in Riften once, y'know...
I had to steal a horse for one guy...white horse...fast horse...
I can't remember the name, so let's name it Spirit Horse!

So I basically stole that Spirit Horse after clearin' out whole villa Assassin-style and dashed out on said horse Zorro-style straight to rendezvous point to meet with mah client and give him the Spirit Horse. It was a good Horse! Very fast and could "sprint" for ages!

Client was pleased and entertained! He payed me for my trouble, then went on his way. Meanwhile, I took shelter in the shadows of the bright day. Pulled out mah Bow called "Soul Reaper" coz...it Reaps Souls from people and creatures...Black Star got bugged, yes! Hue!
I Sniped the Spirit Horse Mafaka from the distance and watched as his numb body (25% chance for Paralyze, dawg) meets the ground.

Claimed Spirit Horse and went to Whiterun to store some precious cargo. I arrived next day and that's when weird shit happened. Louis Letrush came back from the dead. He was pretty much alive, standin' idly near Wahiterun' stables. Thought to myself: "weird...k" and took care of my business, ignoring this siliness...then said "Farewell, Jesus Letrush" and returned to Riften on my own Horse. Spirit Horse disappeared into The Mists...I guess...

When I returned to Whiterun few days later, another Louis Letrush appeared next to the original "Jesus Letrush". Stuck in the ground at the height of his waist. I was curious about this phenomenom, so I stayed in Whiterun for a few days. With each passing day, new Louis Letrush appeared next to the stables. They were all stuck in the ground at different heights. When I asked one of them, they all answered with one voice. Creepy.
5th day, there were six of them, and I grew tired of my research.
My assassin insincts told me to dispose of this heresy, so I did, ending their miserable lives once and for all.
It was a good bug, indeed...

So, here's my new story. I was wandering through Falkreath for a quest from Interesting NPCs. I got jumped by five Sellswords as part of that quest. So far pretty normal, right? Then a random werewolf stumbled into the town and started attacking both the Sellswords and the guards (as a werewolf other werewolves are friendly because - I think - mods). Still not entirely weird. The weird part kicked in when my companions decided the guards, who were attacking the werewolf because guards, were now my enemies. So, at this point, I'm just standing there, staring at the carnage, trying to figure out what the frak is going on. XD And then Skyrim crashed. The end.

So, not a tale, but I have something important to announce.  I've officially purchased all three pieces of DLC for Skyrim.  Soon I shall embark upon several epic quests in which I do stupid shit and kill people IN THE FACE.  Dis gon b gud.

Edit: The best part of getting all the DLC? Getting to install all the DLC versions of the mods I have plus a few extras. XD

Should have got yourself Legendary Edition. All DLCs included + some additional, exclusive patches and everything! I use mods too, lots of 'em: to enhance graphics, to forge some brand, new, sweet weapons and armors or even whole cities! I recommend Ebonvale right here. Conveniently located between Riverwood and Whiterun, in the mountains. It's got it all and more! Oh, and Capes too, get them capes, at all costs, pal! They fit my Rogue/Thief/Assassin perfectly! ;>

That's what I got, man! Legendary Edition was WAY cheaper than getting them separately. Also, the mod thing is... um, already covered. Just ask umad, Nor, or Steel.

Speaking of mods, something very interesting happened to me recently. I was using the mod Deadly Dragons, and got a dragon assault with a Volcanic Dragon and a Revered Dragon (one came from Dawnguard, the other from DD, I couldn't tell you which came from which, though XD). Now, I'm running a bunch of dragon mods, so naturally they're both incredibly tough. WELL, the Revered Dragon seemed to be taking almost no damage AT ALL from any of my attacks, so I decided to check its health using the console. It was around 28,000. Yeah. >.> Anyway, long story short, I decided to go back to an earlier save and adjust the DD Assault settings so I wouldn't get the battle. Honestly, I don't think it was supposed to be that way. I'm guessing something glitched out and produced a ridiculously powerful dragon that I could never kill in a billion years. Still, it makes for a heck of a story. ^^

It is your destiny to fight this Dragon, and if it bleeds then you CAN kill it!
