Maybe we should suggest we would like to see the real ending?

I did and didn't hold back. Made sure I lambasted the "Call of Mass Effect Duty" influence spoiling RPG elements in the game too.

Even if he will put such comments aside in the vocal minority group of say, oh I don't know, more than 60% of those who will take the survey?, he will get the picture. It must be said. Hope more take the survey and shove it straight into the Bioware executive group's collective throats.

1. Do whatever it takes to get Karpyshyn back.
2. Fire Walters.
3. There is no 3, Mass Effect is fixed.

Yeah, so basically a true sequel to ME2.

Yeah, I can get behind this idea.

GG.

ME3 should have started with Shepard being tried and convicted and sent too prison. On his way to prison the Reapers attack and Shepard's transport is destroyed and the first 5 or so hours of Mass Effect is Shepard fighting for his life from Reaper ground forces, guerrilla style, fighting back to Vancouver and the Normandy. No N7 armor, and only basically pistols, an AR and shotty here and there. But no N7 armor. Just Shepard without his iconic N7 armor.

With the Alliance in chaos and many if not most Admirals killed or combat ineffective, The alliance has no choice but to reinstate Shepard and give him the Normandy. Shepard then escapes Earth to go the Citadel, where he learns of a conspiracy to Kill the citadel council and take over the Citadel Via coup by Cerberus and Kai Leng. However, Shepard is too late and unable to stop the coup and assassination of the Council and Cerberus assumes control over the Citadel.

Once again, Shepard has been defeated and is forced to flee.

Now Shepard must call upon an old pal (s) if available (Legion and the Geth) and/or (Wrex and the Krogan) and/or if none of those are available Shepard flees to Thessia and meets Liara. Again the choice of where and who to go is up to the player and results in THREE different "paths" for the player.

The entirety of Mass Effect 3 should have been Shepard getting all the alliances and liberating the Citadel from Cerberus, the Death of Kei Leng and Cerberus on the ropes (although TIM is still.... "out there")ME3's ending is, like ME1, a fight for the citadel and after Cerberus and Leng have been vanquished, Shepard finds intel on Leng's person, about something called the "catalyst" and a "crucible" device, located in..... Dark Space. But it may be the only way to defeat the Reapers.

Mass Effect 4 is all about the Reaper War and Shepard's and the Normandy's venture to Dark Space.

I would have started ME3 with Shepard and crew in the Cerberus SR2, the reaper attack while they are in mid flight, arriving back in the Sol system to see it conquered, and Harbinger going all out to kill shepard and crew, forcing them to flee (defeated) and gather support.

I gave them a piece of my mind, though in a relatively polite fashion. Basically told them that Shepard in pile of rubble is not my idea of an ending that can simply be built into an entirely different story.

@ both posts, those are interesting takes but some might argue it's a rehash of ME2's prologue where Shepard is ambushed by collectors. The twist here being him actually fighting back and not dying. Interesting takes though, don't see why not.
