Infiltrator (leveling)

I dont' know where to ask my questions, lol. Let's do it here :)

I am leveling an Infiltrator for first time. Any tips about the talants? Last night I was killed three times by a Geth Colossos. I guess I am doing something wrong. What are my priorities? I never had to think about that with my Soldier.

Single player or multiplayer?

The class skill is great in SP because it gives time dilation. Incinerate is always good on any class that can have it.

Oh, its single player, Mass effect 1.

Infiltrator was greatly improved in 2. It's just an engineer with less skills, due to snipers being rubbish. I highly recommend decryption, sabotage is a very useful ability and lets you open more crates. Snipers are great when you get the skill up but the wobbly scope is awful at first.

Oh, and spectre training is useful in every class, health, damage, all sorts. (And unity doesn't need medigel, spam away!)

Of course, I'm not an ME guru or anything so don't blame me if it all goes horribly wrong.

I am sure that i will survive somehow till the end. I am more worried about some major decisions in ME1 and 2, since i am a Renegon now.

In ME1, infiltrators have the same talent than soldiers, the one that give you "immunity". It's pretty usefull.

Fitness I think. The one that just gives a flat health boost.

Do infiltrators even have tactical cloak in ME1?

No. I virtually never use it others anyway

Edit: 2 made the classes way more distinct in general. One of the good points of the stripped down system.

I generally use the health regenerating armour enhancement. Once I got my sniper rifle skill up to a level where I was hitting with most shots, I started using high explosive ammo. The heat build-up makes your rate of fire slow, but combined with a sniper rifle rail extension you can do enormous single target and splash damage with every shot.

I'd also suggest levelling up pistols as the Marksmanship ability gives you a very useful close quarters weapon.
