Even though you're just basing it off the colors of their Valentines pictures, control really does seem like the ending Shizune would pick.

And Lilly wouldnt be able to see any of the choices, so she'd just stand there and refuse.

Rin kept trying to destroy herself.

Synthesis involves running into the beam, that works for Emi. I admit it's a bit of a stretch, but Emi stretches all the time.

The Morinth ending is Misha's. Sleeping with her never ends well.

Emi is the only one who is part organic and part synthetic too.

I'll allow the colour difference simply because it's very fitting. What's Hanako's then?

She is the IT ending. Being an avid reader, she spots all the inconsistancies in the ending.

Possible. She was reading Life Of Pi, and while I never read it, I know that the story involves a WNT type scenario for most of the story.

Yes! I saw the movie and wanted to talk about that but no one else here said they'd seen it so I didnt want to spoil it. My mom also saw the movie, and she believed that the fantastical version of the story was true, whereas I believed the more realistic version was true. She's clearly a literalist.

Having read the summary, it's fairly obvious (to me) that the only reason to include the "alternate" story is to show that it's the real one.

I've never played Team Fortress 2, but this hilarious trailer seems relevant to this WNT line of thinking.

I started off doing Hanako's route just now, but bumping into Rin again has brought back feels. I'm very tempted to do her route again!

Improved KS MP characters list:

Colour chart

Power, weapon, and gear setups are highly recommended, but colours are mandatory. All characters start with white Primary/Highlight (C16), and green Secondary (A5), so I'll only note the Pattern, Pattern Colour, and Light Colour for each. "B" and "T" for powers means "Bottom" or "Top", respectively.

Lilly: Adept
Singularity: T/T/T - Warp: T/T/T - Shockwave: T/B/B - Passive: B/T/B
M77 Paladin: Heavy Barrel/Power Magnifier
Gear: Adaptive War Amp
Stripe: 2 - Pattern: Yellow (B4) - Lights: Light Blue (B3)

Shizune: Soldier
Adrenaline Rush: B/T/T - Frag Grenades: T/B/T - Passive: T/B/B - Fitness: B/B/B
Harrier: Extended Barrel/Precision Scope
Gear: Assault Rifle Amp
Stripe: 1 - Pattern: Dark Blue (A11) - Lights: Dark Blue (C4)

Rin: Engineer
Combat Drone: T/B/T - Incinerate: T/T/B - Overload: B/T/B - Passive: B/T/B
Punisher: High Calibre Barrel/Power Magnifier
Gear: Engineering Kit
Stripe: 1 - Pattern: Dark Red (A1) - Lights: Light Green (A2)

Misha: Sentinel
Tech Armour: B/T/B - Warp: T/T/T - Passive: T/T/B - Fitness: B/B/B
Venom: High Calibre Barrel/Omni-Blade
Gear: Multicapacitor
Stripe: 2 - Pattern: Pink (B15) - Lights: Gold (C1)

Hanako: Infiltrator
Tactical Cloak: T/B/B - Sticky Grenade: T/B/T - Passive: T/B/B - Fitness: T/T/T
Black Widow: Extended Barrel/Enhanced Scope
Gear: Vulnerability VI
Stripe: 1 - Pattern: Dark Purple (A12) - Lights: Purple (B2)

Emi: Vanguard
Charge: T/B/B - Nova: T/T/T - Passive: B/T/B - Fitness: T/T/T
M11 Wraith: High Calibre Barrel/Blade
Gear: Structural Ergonomics
Stripe: 1 - Pattern: Light Brown (B18) - Lights: Green (A1)
