I'm using mods for that though, I removed 70% of the furniture and placed armor statues and weapon plaques everywhere

My favorite thing to do in Skyrim is to take the wealthy pricks of various holds down a few pegs by stealing everything they own. The only thing that can top that is putting the fear of god into every bandit gang I come across.

Skyrim really is an amazing game! Sometimes I wish it had 4player coop where you and your friends all play in the same world and do quests together or solo, and you each can own your own home. That would be amazing.

Im eager to build my own home once Hearthfire comes to the PS3. Is it possible to have a decent sized house way out in the middle of nowhere? The vast open plains of central skyrim are among my favorite places in the province.

Arrows to the knees of my enemies, mauling guys as a werewolf, decapitations, and of course thievery, since I usually play a neutral, character.
Oddly enough, that's how I play all my games about, except Fallout, good Karma every time..

I'm going to go big with my next heist. I plan to rob everything of value from the Thalmor headquarters in Solitude because fuck the Thalmor. Getting in ought to be a challange. Theres an 11k bounty on my head in Solitude.

I've just started out.
Jayda is a local of Skyrim being a Nord, she's a quite type that doesn't understand the scale of her journey ahead and what it means to be dragon born, she recently took the two day hike to High Hrothgar to find out. But left with more questions than answers.
She doesn't like to use her voice, as she feels it's an ancient power she knows nothing about. She likes the quite life and refuses to accept anyone's help as a follower, this ensures the follower's safety and allows her to scurry the land without worrying about someone else.
It should come as no surprise that she chose the Thief Stone at the guardian stones.
Her favoured tactic when travelling is to seak out high peaks to get a lay of the land ahead, this also allows her to utilze her favourite weapon, which is the bow.
In times where a bow can be counter-productive. For example; close quarters combat, she uses dual-wielded daggers or a single dagger and destruction spell in her off-hand.
Her personality and tactics best resemble Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games.
Fast-travelling is not permitted.

I would love a mode where fast traveling is disabled, and you have to survive by eating and drinking in the wild.

I'm working on setting up my PC to capture screenshots off my PS3.
@AsariTears: Your tactics are pretty similar to mine minus the focus on destruction spells. I hardly use magic aside from conjured demons and atronachs to act as decoys and invisibility to vanish.

You can if you have PC. There's a mod called "instinctive exploration" in which you cannot view your world map unless you have bought a map from a vendor. But everytime you view the world map, it destroys that map. So you have to be careful how much you use WM. To get to your destinations you have a map which can be equipped and you can look at it, similiar to the Skyrim map you get with your game.
There's also a mod called "realistic needs and diseases" in which you have to eat, drink and sleep similar to Fallout New Vegas' Hardcore Mode.

You should just get it on PC ; )
As for the tactics. Yes, but I don't use spells that often, most of the time it's either bows or dual-wielded daggers. I never use conjuration or alteration spells though.

Re: Any Skyrim fans out here?
That sounds really great! My god I miss playing on P.C (the high-end games), I would imagine Skyrim would certainly be a vastly different experience than on the 360. Those mods alone would completely overhaul the game for the better!Asari tears wrote:401 Kill wrote:I would love a mode where fast traveling is disabled, and you have to survive by eating and drinking in the wild.

I'm starting to really enjoy alchemy. I hardly have to worry about one shot kills with a deadly 3 effect poison to take care of the rest.
I've also discovered how awesome magicka depleting enchantments are against dragons. Its fun shutting those bastards down with twin storm atronachs and magicka draining.

Re: Any Skyrim fans out here?
My problem is that I can't seem to get a character past lvl 20 or so. I've done several totally different characters (assassin, heavy armor mage, sword and board fighter, etc.), but I'm always eager to try something new. Thankfully I don't have these commitment issues in real life.
My latest creation is a dunmer woman who will focus on sneaky movement and melee combat using 2 handed blades, blocking, and light or no armor. I'm aware of the total lack of synergy among those skills, but I like the idea.
Trying to stick to some rules this time around to make it more interesting: 1) Fast travel only on carriages. 2) Don't trust the craftsmanship of any weapons you find, make your own and sell the rest. 3) Dead is dead.
We'll see how long she lasts. I'm using the random start mod, chose "scout" as my class, and it plopped me in a storm cloak camp West of Windhelm. I'm thinking she must make some money selling supplies to these guys, despite their awful treatment. Picked up a lead on a bounty for some bandit chieftan across the mountain. Heading out tonight.
I'm very intrigued by the sound of that world map mod. Will check it out.

I tend to prefer single word names for my gear. Not sure why. Anyway, daedric dagger eh? Nice. How about...Lament?
