Cheers! It's a great list of quotes that can be used to support IT - I'm going to see if I can find video links on Youtube for them at some point!

One issue I have here is that from a business perspective, if Bioware sold us a game which is going to wrap up the trilogy and finish the story arc, then later on pulled a "just kidding" on us (the story arc isn't finished yet), how would people react to that?

@Magnetite: depends on how they handle it, I suppose. =)

Shepard: My mother's in the Alliance. Haven't heard from her since Earth got hit.
Garrus: I'm sure... she's okay. Pretty soon, blind hope is all we'll have left... and I hate being blind.

Shepard: You're a good officer, Traynor. Glad you finally realize it.
Traynor: Thanks. Not that I'm volunteering for bomb-jump duty. I'd suggest sending someone who has armour first, if possible.

(^ Hilarious ending reference by Traynor)

Traynor: Garrus mentioned something about having some fun next time you're on the Citadel. Don't get into trouble.

Javik: The Sinril claimed to have found the path to eternal peace.
Garrus: So what happened?
Javik: The Dittakar preferred war, and wiped them out.
Garrus: I hope you guys had alcohol.

(^ Hilarious synthesis foreshadowing)

The citadel is supposed to attract advanced civilisations and tame them into complacency.
James has some interesting quotes about this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=wrpQ46svfVc#t=233s

If the above link doesn't work go to 3:53.

It's like the game is slapping you in the fucking face with this revelation that the citadel is more sinister than you realise - that's why I find the citadel DLC so interesting.

Good to see you here, TSA! cheers

And agreed!

There's also this:

Shepard: Sometimes I think this whole Citadel is a mistake.
Joker: What do you mean?
Shepard: It's out here in the middle of nowhere, defensible, safe...
Remember how everyone ignored the geth threat until Saren's attack?
Joker: Let's hope they listen this time. I don't know if we'll be able to save their asses again.

I always wonder if the citadel's odd effect on people is why the council is on your side at the end of 1, but convinced themselves you were mad after you die.

Does this mean you're the people I have to taunt and poke with a stick every now and then to see if you'll respond?
