So far this feels like an authentic jaunt into the Deep Roads.

With long elevator rides.

And Dorian asking for the flute music from ME1's elevators.

And then one of the enemies gets stuck in a wall and I can't tell for certain whether or not that fact has screwed me.

I deleted my save file but intentionally. Really pushing through with this Nightmare Run. More enjoyable this time through too (though I did have to cheat to get past the Haven attack boss). DAI is much better for me now that I generally know how things work and how I can pace myself out, etc.

I'll get all DLC together on sale months from now. And I'm sure JoH and Descent will be on sales since they'll be much less relevant than Trespasser, pretty quickly.

Also Thedas is part of the Fade, more or less.

Let me get this straight. There was a Archdemon in DA:I.

The time has come to bring back the Hero of Feraldan,or The Orlesen Warden, or a new Warden in general.

Personally the first option. Dragon Age: The Calling i can see it now! And best way to send it off is when the Warden is in the Fade there is a Griffion.....

Spoiled a lot of Trespasser for myself (not some of the big stuff yet, and I'd like to see if there's Sandal or not).

Still looking forward to playing it. Seems at least sizable--ish--- so far.

Also, as I always am at the end of games like this, I'm sad my companions scattered to the winds for the most part.

I hope there's a way to redeem Solas in DA4.

I want to kill him because I choose to kill him, not because I have to kill him.

Actually, I would've gone with "I thought you were smarter than that..." rather than "You deserved it."

Somebody noticed this bit of dialogue in the vanilla game.  Rather telling.

Inquisitor: Are you ever concerned that you've turned your back on your people?
Solas: I have done no such thing. I simply see no way to help the elves, oppressed as they are now.

Pick the option "Really? No way at all?"

Inquisitor: The man who has lived half his life in the Fade has no ideas?
Solas: Not unless we collapse the Veil and bring the Fade here so I can casually reshape reality, no.

Goddamnit, Solas.

So Sandal's prophecy about the magic coming back and everyone being as they were before makes more sense now.

Also, whoever you left in the Fade could potentially come back if the Veil is dropped.  You know, before they starve to death.

Incidentally, Sandal's diary can be found at a campsite in the Crossroads. All it says is Enchantment! over and over again, but it's there. Put that dwarf on the next game's team! He can operate Elluvians! ...probably without the permission of whoever is supposed to be in control of them!

I'm crossing my fingers for my Hawke to come back as a dragon through wibbly wobbly lore.

Vote for Sandal 2016. He can do anything!
