Did the Citadel DLC provide any IT evidence for/against?
Hey guys, I pretty much stopped playing Mass Effect after the Citadel DLC. Think combination of hope being crushed, or maybe promoting far too many times in multiplayer burned me out... Anyways
I was pretty much up to date with IT theory evidence up until Citadels release, time has since passed.
What evidence did you guys get from Citadel DLC that supported IT? For or against?

Citadel gave us a mission where a murderous virtual reality tries to kill Shepard but the "IT team" (*cough* "information technologies *cough*) puts it down and saves Shepard.

There's lots and lots of IT hints in Citadel. Nothing that outright proves it, but sooooo much that hints at stuff.
The claw game, where the balls look exactly like the ending explosions.... the orange/red ball is the only thing that actually wins you a prize. Blue and green tell you that you win, while you actually lose money.(Once the apartment music runs out, orange/red still wins you weapon mods, while blue and green only let you lose money while telling you you're a winner) Zaeed talking about the claw game, talking about a kid that made him play the game, and saying he doesn't want to be bested by "some stupid kid's game".
Overall, it's really pro-destroy, lots of references to the breath scene, most notably in Jack's romance scene.
Shepard referring to the clone incident with "my communications were being hacked, among other things" and "an attempt to take over my whole life".
Garrus and Zaeed talking about "explosive glass wall fixtures" being "wave of the future in home defense". (explosive glass wall fixture = tube, wave of the future = the red wave, home defense = saving Earth)
Soooo much of that stuff, way too much to list OTOH.
We made a whole topic for it. Most of it is sneaky little ambiguities in the dialogue.

Nods? A ton.
Hints? A ton. I'd even say that at least half the script was dedicated to it (with the other half being about Control, Synthesis outcomes).
Evidence? Not really. It's all metaphorical.. at least for now.
Proof? None.
Omega DLC provided nods, Citadel DLC provided hints, and Leviathan DLC provided evidence, I guess is the way I see it.
(While the other way around, Omega DLC was the most Red/Destroy themed, Citadel DLC was more in the upper-middle, and Leviathan DLC had nothing to particularly promote it.
So I guess that covers Bioware's bases. I do think that other choices are covered more than IT proposes, but the biggest and most important one is still the Red/Breath Destroy one where Shepard can 'wake up'.)
