This thread could use a multi player discussion. Allow me to start by saying all classes are inferior to the geth infiltrator. Twisted Evil

I prefer Infiltrators as well (Origin ID is BlastoTheSpectre btw). I do like naming them all boring names, Frank, Josh, Jim, etc.

Ive always found it annoying that a name is required to play a character. Thoughtful names can be difficult to come up with.

Yeah, I played my friend's Geth Infiltrator (Simplus Maximus) and I must say it was the best char on his account... till' we created Krogan Sentinel (Kroganus Prime). Krogans are OP in Multi IMO. High health, high shields, and no worry about cooldowns if u play Krogan Sent or Soldier (screw rage and carnage anyway!). give him Striker + Claymore, and you're ready! Finished Gold dozen times with this equipment, and usually at the top!

At least now they don't reset when you promote a character.

My Krogan Vanguard's name is Urdnot Smash'Em, by the way.

I did name my Krogan soldier Hollywood Hulk Krogan. Pretty proud of that one.

Im currently working on becoming proficient with the N7 Paladin and Shadow. With the Paladin I think I've finally found my niche. I equip him with a GPS and recharge reduction gear. In a worst case scenario match I can create cryo explosions all on my own.

My Batarian Soldier disagrees. Any way - the MP is a simulation. the background for the N& HQ is even a screenshot from the opening cinematic - the command ship over Earth one. (and is it just me, or does it pan out VERY SLOWLY - i.e. the shot gets wider and wider very slowly over the course of weeks and even mounths?)

Oh by the way the thread title is just my attempt at a joke. I dont intend to get into speculation how real or simulated MP is.

On another topic I wish each race had its own heavy weapon. I cant imagine most batarians wanting to sport alliance rocket launchers on their backs.

The MP is a simulator thing is just Hellish's mad ravings. It's silly in so many ways I don't even know where to begin with it.

And yeah, there should be more heavy weapons. TexMod is good for getting rid of the Alliance logo on PC. Stuck with it on consoles though.

Next topic for discussion: PuGs and why we hate them.

I hate the fact that they will always choose the most wide open area with zero cover and 10 possible avenues of approach to camp.

Question: The Easter Eggs on Firebase: Vancouver.

We've had the pumpkin (Halloween challenge)
And the present (Christmas challenge)

But have we had the chocolate/strawberry cake yet? Was this used as an objective during N7 Day?

Or could it be there for Mass Effect 3's first birthday..?

Id like to think ME3s first birthday would involve the reveal weve always wanted.

On a side note I blew up a volus with the help of a possessed abomination. I think Rif would be proud.

Since they included the volus characters and even gave them all the money language in their dialogue, they should have just gone all the way and made them spout economics jargon one-liners.

It looks like my aggregate supply of bullets has an expansionary gap with your aggregate demand for holes in your skull.

You appear to be running a trade deficit; we're killing ten of you for every one of ours.

Only death and taxes are eternal, and you obviously don't have any money.

(On reviving someone) Welcome back to the workforce!

(When dying) My predictive model did not account for all these market forces....

(When last alive) We appear to be experiencing deflation. The proper response? INCREASE THE BULLET SUPPLY.

My favorite classes: N7 Fury Adept, N7 Shadow Infiltrator, Human Sentinel, Asari Adept, Salarian Infiltrator, Salarian Engineer.

I have been wondering if the MP campaign is leading up to some sort of reveal.

Man... I kind of miss playing MP just for the Destroyer. My favorite class of anything ever. Bullet-hose (destroyer+typhoon) was the most fun you can have with your pants on.

In case you guys didn't know, you can make the Cobra missile launcher invisible! Not like Cloak, I mean the model actually vanishes, it's great, I never play without doing it. Note that this is purely aesthetic and has no effect on gameplay.

1. Equip the Cobra
2. Switch back to your weapon
3. While the switch animation is playing interrupt it by either climbing a ladder or heavy meleeing

Note that heavy meleeing doesn't work with some characters, due to their weapon never disappearing during their heavy melee; this includes the following:

-Salarians
-Quarians
-Krogan
-Volus
-some Humans (default Engineers/Infiltrators & the N7 Destroyer)

If you're playing as one of those on a map without ladders, then you can't make it vanish, sadly.

I never put anything into the missiles. I just can't justify reducing my shields for their piddly benefit. Things might have changed since I quit in October or so though.
