I haven't actually given up hope that Andromeda might be a decent game, but shutting down the forums.... probably not a good sign.

Side note, should have been the main note: I'm betting we get a real trailer for ME:A after BSN's forums officially go offline at the end of October. I doubt they want to have people digging up ME3 rants.

New trailer will coincide with Nov 7th for N7 day.

Pretty much expecting we still wont get any proper gameplay footage beyond teasers and stock footage of developers working in studio on their workstations from odd angles enough to obscure from view what's on their monitors.

This game wont even launch until Q2 2017 at best, they are so behind schedule. If they do launch by end of Q1 due to EA pressure (what else is new eh?) it will be like half the actual game with the rest of it in paid DLCs, the sad part being Bioderp groupies will actually pay for that kind of thievery.

Honestly, I have never seen how N7 was all that important a symbol to the game. ME1 made everything about being a Spectre with next to no mention of the N7 logo on Shepard's armor.

Probably because it is the closest thing to an official logo for the whole Mass Effect universe that players can relate to. "MASS EFFECT" even the stylized version of it is just a title, so the next best thing that's near and dear to players is the N7 logo because it was the logo on most of their Shepards (unless they used weird armor mods)

If ME:A bombs, the series will more than likely be killed off for good. ME:A has to be a very good game in its own right for there to be any hope for the original trilogy IMNSHO. For what it's worth, BioWare CAN pull that off.

Hey, lay off James Vega. He was a necessary evil. The game had to have a tank character that could not have died in the previous installments plus a character who could field the sort of comments a player new to series would make. There are far worse ways to solve those problems than James Vega.

Vega is fine in context, it's his execution and asthetic nature that's stupid. Jersey Shore meathead/closet homo Puerto Rican dude bro,who calls Shepard Loco and tries to hard to Spic it up in a genetic borderline racist way. It's stupid. His character is stupid. A new Krogan or Batarian tank character would have been much better, or God forbid actually reward good players and veteran's and have Grunt or Wrex in his place. But no, DerpoWare had to get a B list celebrity to voice him instead. Cause if it was something Mass Effect needed more of, it was more B list actors doing voice work. Boy I tell ya, that was really top priority man.
